Biden guarantees to Roe v. Make Wade the legislation of the nation if Trump's SCOTUS nominees repeal it
As Donald Trump and his Senate Republican loyalists work to validate Amy Coney Barrett in the Supreme Court ahead of the November election, millions of women fear they are on the verge of losing their reproductive rights.
Vice President Joe Biden attempted to allay those fears during a town hall on NBC News Monday night by promising to promote legislation that Roe v. Wade would be the law of the country if Trump's judges overturned the landmark decision.
"We don't know exactly what (Amy Coney Barrett) is going to do, although there is an expectation that she will very much override Roe," said Biden. “The only responsible response to that would be to pass laws that make Roe the law of the country. I would do that. "

As Jason Easley of PoliticusUSA wrote last week, Amy Coney Barrett not only took part in an ad in which the overthrow of Roe v. Wade was challenged, but she also hid this participation.
In other words, the American people know exactly where they are on this issue and are appropriately afraid of it.
That is why it is important for Democrats to win back the Senate
While the main focus of Democratic voters was on winning the White House back in November, it's also important that the Senate go blue too.
This would give Democrats an opportunity to protect some of the protections that are currently pending due to a right-wing Supreme Court – from abortion rights to voting rights to the Affordable Care Act.
If Joe Biden wins, he may inherit a Supreme Court with three Trump-appointed judges. In that case, he needs a Democratic Congress to protect the American people.
