Trash bags of undeliverable mail were found on Sunday outside the home of a postal worker in Baldwin, Pennsylvania.
The bags were found by special USPS agents and appeared to be on the side of the road for garbage collection.
CNN reported, "Agents of the Inspector General of the Postal Service responded to a report of undelivered mail outside the employee's house on Sunday. The agent works at the Post Office in Mount Oliver, according to a statement from the Postal Service."

"USPS OIG Special Agents have restored various classes of mail, including business mail, homes and a small amount of first-class mail," Special Agent Scott Balfour told CNN in a statement.
"We are assuming that today we will do a piece counting of the post and take precautions that the post must be delivered to the customers as quickly as possible."
The discarded mail is one of many examples that have been featured on the news in the past few months.

So far, this incident does not appear to have received any votes. However, stories of lost or discarded mail keep popping up in the news.
President Trump added fuel to the fire and raised the alarm, and Democrats accused President Trump of sabotaging the post office.
Other issues with mail-in ballot papers in Pennsylvania
In September, military votes for President Trump in Pennsylvania were dropped.
The political insider reported, “Officials in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania found nine thrown away Military postal ballot papers discarded, seven of which were given for President Trump. "

"The FBI, along with the Pennsylvania State Police, opened an investigation into the missing military votes and has recovered nine so far, despite saying a" small number "of ballot papers were discarded," the report said.
"Some of the ballots can even be traced back to specific voters."

More cases of lost mail and ballot papers
Discarded mail allegedly containing postal ballot papers was found in Los Angeles in October.
A claim that mailboxes containing postal ballot papers were found dumped in a ditch in Wisconsin was rated "True" by Snopes on Sept. 29.
This was despite Wisconsin officials' refusal that the discarded mail included all postal ballot papers.
To be clear, there is no evidence of deliberate gimmicks – regarding lost mail or postal voting.
At the same time, there must be an overwhelming belief in the integrity of the franchise in a democracy.
People must be able to trust that their mail will actually be delivered and not be thrown on the curb in garbage bags.
Or found in a ditch next to the highway.
