Trump says GSA administrator is doing an awesome job blocking Biden Transition

Trump sent a not-so-subtle message to GSA administrator Emily Murphy telling her she's doing a great job while blocking the Biden transition.

Trump tweeted:

Great job, Emily!

– Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 15, 2020

President-elect Biden has not met with government officials and has not been given access to millions in transition funds. Murphy refused to sign the papers that would initiate the transition.

Walter Shaub noted that Murphy is putting Americans' lives at risk by withholding transitional funds in the middle of a pandemic:

This is Trump telling @GSAEmily that she's doing a great job putting American life at risk by withholding transition resources from the president-elect in a pandemic. His tweet is a carrot and a whip and it says, "I'm watching you, Emily." But it is unnecessary. Murphy is full of corruption.

Trump complimented Murphy on an unrelated tweet, but the news was inevitable. Trump believes Murphy is doing a great job harming the country to make him happy.

If Trump refuses to admit the election, or if he admits and then tries to take it back, that is his choice, but American life is at risk. National security is weakened because corrupt members of his government refuse to do their job.

Biden will still be a better president than Trump even without classified briefings and a cooperative change of president.
