Pelosi asks House Democrats not to jump a ship for Biden
"Nancy tells the House of Representatives," This is not the time to go, "a Democratic official briefed by representatives of Democratic Congress told the New York Post.
Another House insider added that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) Is urging Democratic officials to stay where they are and urging Biden's transition team not to poach its members as their majority is shrinking .
The issue of whether or not to join Team Biden was raised at a House Democratic caucus meeting last week.
"It doesn't help to talk about it," a member of the Democratic leadership reportedly said on the phone call when raised.
"The feeling is: don't make hasty decisions about visiting the administration without first considering the consequences for the caucus," said another Democratic insider familiar with the call. This source added that the "zeitgeist" of the Democratic House leadership is that their majority is "paper thin".

This comes a week after it was reported that Biden is reviewing a non-partisan list of 30 members of Congress who are known to work for key administrative posts across the gang. There are reportedly 20 of those lawmakers in the House of Representatives, which is believed to be more focused on poaching than Biden than he is the Senate.
The fate of the Senate is still open as it depends on two special elections to be held in Georgia in January.
