Trump insists there’s "great proof" of election fraud instantly after McConnell acknowledged Biden's victory
President Donald Trump redoubled his claims that election fraud played a role in the results of the 2020 presidential election, insisting that there is "tremendous evidence" that the activity took place.
"There has never been anything like it in our country!" the president claimed.
Huge evidence of election fraud. There has never been anything like it in our country!

Trump's message came just minutes after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) First recognized Joe Biden as elected president and, with the help of many Republicans, concluded six weeks of tensions in Washington as president of an effort to reverse the election results .
“The electoral college has spoken, so today I want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden. The elected president is no stranger to the Senate. He's been in the public service for many years, ”McConnell said this morning. Other Republicans soon followed suit, signaling cracks in the president's firewall.
There is no evidence of widespread electoral fraud. The weekend before the electoral college election, the Supreme Court threw back a Texas lawsuit seeking to reverse election results in key swing states – including Michigan and Georgia – that the president had lost, ending attempts that Prove choice had been compromised. President Trump's claims have also been debunked by federal agencies who found no evidence of fraud.
Last night, the President's Attorney General William Barr announced that he would step down with effect next week. Barr was a key ally of the president, pushing his "Law and Order Agenda" until he fell out of favor after announcing that his office could find no evidence that fraud had taken place.
