Conservative Columnist: Nikki Haley was as soon as a rising star and is now centered on white grievances and Christian persecution

When she was governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley was one of the most popular Republicans in the country. Some even thought she had a chance to become the first woman president.

Donald Trump capitalized on Haley's popularity by making her his ambassador to the United Nations. While leaving the position midway through Trump's tenure, she remained a fan of the presidents.

Haley has remained so sycophantic to Trump that Conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin penned an article on Haley's change of tone. Rubin writes that Haley is now primarily focused on white grievances and Christian nationalism.

The Washington Post writer: “She (Haley) just roars about socialism. Perhaps looking ahead to 2024, she believes nonsense accusations are the way to gain favor in her intellectually empty party. "

Rubin continues:

"The thoughtless denunciation of politics that Democrats don't pursue, addressing whites' complaint, repeating delusions of Christian persecution, and uttering empty platitudes about capitalism is what goes for Republican" ideas "these days. And remember, Haley is one of the smarter and more sensible Republicans. You just lack the intellectual integrity, creativity, and courage to speak to voters and adults alike. It's so much easier to throw around crazy buzzwords than to offer pragmatic political ideas. "
