MP Scott Perry (R-PA) played a key role in connecting Trump with people ready to campaign.
The New York Times reported:
Mr. Perry introduced the President to Mr. Clark, whose openness to conspiracy theories about electoral fraud provided Mr. Trump with a welcome break from Acting Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen, who stood by the election results and had repeatedly resisted the President's efforts to reverse them.
Mr Perry's involvement is also likely to tighten scrutiny over House Republicans, who continue to advance Mr Trump's false and thoroughly debunked allegations of electoral fraud, even after President Biden's inauguration this week and while Congress prepares for impeachment , in which it is checked whether such a conversation is held, instigated the uprising in the Capitol.
Trump was turned away by high-ranking executive officials when he tried to use the federal government to overthrow the election. So he turned to the House Republican Loyalists and subordinate government officials to carry out his conspiracy to undo Joe Biden's victory.
All involved must be fully investigated and punished. The conspiracy to discard the 2020 election results appears to go much deeper than initially thought. It wasn't just Trump and people like Rudy Giuliani trying to overthrow democracy, but the former president had elected members of Congress to the conspiracy.
