Trump said, “We will stop the theft. Today I'm going to share just some of the evidence that proves we won this election, and we won it by a landslide. This wasn't a close choice. And after that we'll go down and I'll be with you, we'll go down – we'll go down to the Capitol. "
The insurgents replied:
Save the Capitol.
Take the Capitol.
We're going to the Capitol. It's that direction.
Everyone this way, this way.
The crowd would do what Trump told them to do. Trump had a choice. He could have told them all to get their phones out immediately and flood Congress with calls. He could have asked them to hold a sit-in or a peaceful nonviolent protest.
Donald Trump decided to send his mob to the Capitol to try to stop the confirmation of Joe Biden's victory through violence and intimidation.
The video shows that Trump instigated the uprising. Republicans want to talk about trials because the evidence against Donald Trump is visible to the entire nation.
