Republicans strike again at Biden's Neanderthal insult of "Unity President"

Republicans are shooting back at President Joe Biden after insulting states that have opened and discarded drastic COVID restrictions as supporters of “Neanderthal thought”.

On Wednesday, Biden insulted Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves when they announced they would begin resetting mask mandates and other COVID security measures.

When explaining the current situation regarding vaccine availability, Biden said, “We could postpone this until the end of May so we had enough (vaccines) for every American to get every adult American to get a shot. The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking. "

Governor Reeves announced that all restrictions will be lifted from Wednesday. Governor Abbott said all state restrictions would be lifted from March 10 in Texas.

What Republicans have to say about the term "Neanderthals"

After Biden made the comments, several Republicans were quick to defend the governors' actions and outrageous rhetoric in general when they talked about the Republican Party and the Conservatives.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), a frequently voiced voice against the Biden administration, had this to say:

“What a unifier Joe Biden is. You know this is Mr. Unity. And yet, if you disagree with him, you are a Neanderthal man. This is a guy who also calls people who disagree with him, Nazis. It's incredible. We're used to it in Missouri because we're referred to as "flyover land" by the DC crowd. So we've received this treatment for years, but the truth is there is nothing wrong with actually following science and allowing people to make their own decisions.

MP Michael Waltz (R-FL) also had harsh words for Biden. He said the president "essentially called his political opponents" stupid. "Waltz didn't hold back:

“Let me tell you what Neanderthal thinking is. Neanderthal thinking keeps our schools closed and keeps our children falling behind. Perhaps Neanderthals makes people think that restaurants put people in tents while they sit outside, but they can't let them in or put seniors first when it comes to our vaccines … which Neanderthals thought was a good idea, infected seniors again admitting nursing homes when it was clearly the most vulnerable and most vulnerable population? "

The “Neanderthal thinking” keeps schools and restaurants closed. The point is not to vaccinate seniors first, but to allow infected seniors to return to nursing homes.

Review of the "basket of the unfortunate"

Members of Congress weren't the only ones calling on President Biden's comments.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany compared Biden's "Neanderthal" comment to Hillary Clinton's "unfortunate" description of Trump supporters during the 2016 presidential election.

She also referred to GOP strategist Rick Wilson, who referred to Trump supporters as "gullible boomer rubles".

On Biden's comments, McEnany said: "When Joe Biden – the great unifier – simply gives freedom, he calls us Neanderthals, including his predecessor Hillary Clinton."

President Biden said it was "Neanderthals" to allow Mississippians to choose how to protect themselves.

Mississippians don't need handlers. When the numbers go down, they can judge their decisions and listen to experts. I think I just think we should trust the Americans, not offend them.

Senator Marco Rubio turned the tables on Biden by using the popular "Social Justice Warrior" discussion points currently so popular on the left:

President Biden's use of an ancient stereotype harms modern Europeans, Asians, and Americans, who inherit about 2% of their genes from Neanderthal ancestors. https://t.co/aXHJV5wLlr

He should apologize for his insensitive comments and be trained in unconscious bias.

Disorder in the Biden administration?

The Biden administration may have bigger concerns than a back and forth naming meeting with Republicans.

The President has not even set a date for the address of the State of the Union. On January 14th, he announced that he would present the “Better Back Down” recovery plan ahead of a joint congressional session “next month”.

Another curiosity about the Biden administration is that we are in the new administration for 43 days. There is also no planned press conference with the President.

The only statement from White House Secretary Jen Psaki about upcoming press conferences is, “We are definitely going to have one. We will plan it and you will be the first to know because you are instrumental in it. "

The crisis on the southern border is also worsening, but the Biden government refuses to even call it a crisis. Homeland Security Minister Alejandro Mayorkas said on Monday: “We are challenged at the border. It's a stressful challenge. "

According to an Axios report, 117,000 unaccompanied children will enter the US on DHS projects this year.
