Whereas US navy accounts goal Tucker Carlson, US loses simulated battle video games towards China

Still outraged by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who contrasted China's urge for a "masculine" military against the US military's focus on inclusivity for women, an official Marine Corps account and other military officials attacked Carlson throughout the weekend.

The controversy stems from a previously classified Air Force war game showing the US is losing a military to a conflict with China.

The Marines' tweet read (it has since been deleted): “What about today's armed forces @ TuckerCarlson. Go right before you come left, boomer. “The post included female marines and a variety of hashtags celebrating female marines.

Tucker Carlson doesn't believe women can serve in the military. Quite bold words from a frozen food heir who couldn't bother to serve himself.

US military Twitter goes to war with Tucker Carlson

Senior Army Leader Michael Grinston tweeted, “Women lead our deadliest units with character. They will dominate EVERY future battlefield we have to fight on. "

"@ TuckerCarlson's words are divisive and do not reflect our values," he added. "We have the most professional, well-educated, agile and strongest corps of non-commissioned officers in the world."

The tweets kept coming back to Carlson's segment.

The most direct official military comments came from the II Marines Expeditionary Force, which later apologized.

While many of the tweets were deleted, journalist Jack Posobiec – a former Navy lieutenant who worked in the NAval Secret Service office – saved them:

Hello @CMC_MarineCorps! Are these official statements from the @iimigofficial about how the Marines view US civilians? pic.twitter.com/FeMU613cn9

– Jack Posobiec (@JackPosobiec) March 13, 2021

Perhaps the group realized that it is not the role of the official military to get into politics and attack journalists and eventually apologized after deleting the incriminating comments:

We're human and we screwed up. We wanted to stand up for female marines, and it was an effort to support them. You are a vital part of our corps and we need you to know that. We will adjust the fire and ensure the highest level of professionalism in our tweets.

Conservative answer

Many conservatives found the political attacks by the official military disruptive.

Marine Jessie Jane Duff wanted answers:

Maybe @ArmyChiefStaff would be interested in what his generals post too. https://t.co/vUNCaA1lBN

– Jessie Jane Duff (@JessieJaneDuff) March 14, 2021

Posobiec mentioned above weighed on the political nature of the attacks on Carlson:

Thank you senator. The military has no authority over political decisions and any official who violates this sovereign right must be reprimanded quickly.

– Jack Posobiec (@JackPosobiec) March 14, 2021

Senator Ted Cruz found one journalist's political comments and direction worrying enough to call for a meeting with the Marines:

Under Biden, the military launches political attacks to intimidate Tucker Carlson and other civilians who criticize their political decisions.

Officials in uniform are used for the campaign.

I have requested a meeting with the USMC commander to put an end to this. pic.twitter.com/Ihl8xRJr0S

Most seemed to ignore Carlson's contrast between the US military and China

While they focused most on Carlson's criticism of the US military and the role of women in it, they seemed to miss his comparison of American attitudes to China's regarding their military.

"So we have new hairstyles and maternity flight suits," said Carlson on Tuesday in his program. "Pregnant women will wage our wars."

"It's a mockery of the US military," he continued. "While China's military becomes more masculine as it puts together the largest navy in the world, our military – as Joe Biden says – must become more feminine, whatever feminine means, since men and women no longer exist."

The US Air Force loses war games against China

The day after Carlson's controversial segment, Yahoo News published a story on Wednesday titled "We're Going to Lose Quickly": The US Air Force hosted a war game that began with a Chinese biological attack.

The report looked at a previously classified simulated conflict conducted by the U.S. Air Force in the fall that was supposed to be the kind of military clash between the U.S. and China that could take place in the future, or in about a decade or so.

The simulated conflict began with a Chinese biological weapon attack that swept through US bases and warships in the Indo-Pacific region. Then a major Chinese military exercise was used as cover for the deployment of a massive invasion force. "

Yahoo News noted, "The simulation culminated in Chinese missile strikes on US bases and warships in the region, as well as a lightning strike and an amphibious assault on the island of Taiwan."

China flexing muscles

"The high-ranking war game, previously unreleased, took place less than a year after the spread of the coronavirus, which reportedly originated in a Chinese market and spread to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and one of the US Navy Acquired Major assets are out of service, ”reported Yahoo News.

This was just the simulated conflict. China has tensed its military muscles in various ways.

Really.

Yahoo News continued, "In September, in the midst of the war game, Chinese warplanes purposely flew 40 times over the seldom crossed strait axis towards Taipei, conducting simulated attacks on the island of Taiwan by prime ministers called" disruptive. "

"Amid these provocations, the Chinese Air Force released a video showing a bomber capable of carrying nuclear weapons carrying out a simulated attack on Andersen Air Force Base on the US Pacific island of Guam," the report added. "

Does Tucker Carlson have a sense of China's military that is most lacking?

China also sent a message right after Biden entered the White House.

Yahoo News reported: “If, four days after President Biden took office, the new US administration did not receive the intended message behind all this provocative military activity, a large force of Chinese bombers and fighters would fly past Taiwan and launch simulated missile attacks on the USS Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group while sailing in international waters in the South China Sea. "

Air Force Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote, assistant chief of staff for strategy, integration and requirements, told Yahoo News about his observations of war game activity over the past few years: “At this point, the trend in our war games was not just that we lost, but we lost faster. "

So…

Will US military officials and other political leaders stop being outraged by Tucker Carlson's observations outside the pc long enough to consider that he may have taken a position on China?

And that it's something America should be more careful about?
