Meghan McCain and Pleasure Behar focus on Jim Jordan's combat with Fauci

Things went wrong again on Friday's ABC talk show "The View" when Kohosts Meghan McCain and Joy Behar pondered the fight that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) had with Dr. Anthony Fauci at the helm led Congress yesterday after the Republican asked him when the Americans "get our freedoms back".

After seeing the footage of his comments, McCain defended the entire Republican Party, stating that it was in their DNA to defy authority.

McCain finishes off

"We think big government is bad," McCain said, according to the Decider. "We don't think the answer to everything is just bowing your knee to great leaders."

"It's an innate philosophical difference between Democrats and Republicans," she added. "And unfortunately I think the virus and vaccine have really been politicized, but blaming the Republicans is only intellectually dishonest."

This didn't go well with Behar.

"Look, I know there is a difference between the two parties, but why blame Fauci? Your argument is against the government, not Fauci. He's just a scientist trying to do his job," Behar said and interrupted McCain as she tried to answer.

McCain attacks Newsom

At another point in the episode, McCain went out and cursed Democrats like California Governor Gavin Newsom.

"I think it's easy to say Republicans are contrary," she said. "In California, if you look at the draconian lockdowns that Gavin Newsom has taken to the extent that small business owners have been utterly devastating."

McCain didn't stop, referring to a viral video of a woman outside her bar that was closed because of the coronavirus pandemic and cried while a movie was on the street outside her business.

"You're telling me it's not political?" McCain said. "Because, according to Gavin Newsom, it was more important to have movies open than small bars and small shops while he was eating inside the French laundry with his friends and not wearing masks?"
