Assaults on Tim Scott, Caitlyn Jenner, and Hispanic Republicans show that Democrats don't should be free thinkers
Identity politics has been the be-all and end-all for the Democratic Party for some time. In modern times, Democrats have always expected large numbers of women, African Americans, Hispanics, and the LGBT community to cross the finish line.
There were always a few people in these groups who dared to "step over" and not just become Conservatives and / or Republicans, but put on a big public show of it.
So far, the numbers have not been enough to jeopardize the Democrats' influence over these election blocs.
But as more blacks, Hispanics, and members of the LGBT community openly declare they are Republicans, the Democratic response has been condescension, or downright vitriol.
Just look at the cases of black Republican Senator Tim Scott, Hispanic women in South Texas, or GOP California's gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner.
The Daily Wire's Asce Schow contends that the bigotry of the left is now open to view.
One thing that stands out about the Republicans who have switched seats in the House of Representatives so far: They are all women, minorities, or veterans (two out of three in many cases). https://t.co/I6sUGEwve2

Diverse thoughts pose a threat
In a recent incredibly patronizing article by Juan Williams, a Fox News associate, the title alone says it all, "Tim Scott should be a Democrat."
Williams's argument for Senator Scott to switch parties goes something like this:
While Williams agreed with Scott's recent statement that "America is not a racist country," Scott should then state that former President Donald Trump has inspired enough white supremacists to believe America could become a racist country.
Otherwise, says Williams, Scott helps racists cover up their racism.
Scott risks becoming the only black Republican Senator who, in Juan Williams' eyes, is the only black Republican Senator who ignores the GOP's attempts to "suppress the voters" and its record of "police brutality".
What is missing here is an indication that Williams understands that Tim Scott is, in fact, a fully functional, sentient adult with agency who may simply not agree with Williams' ideas.
At least Juan was honest enough to point out that a bonus for handing Tim Scott over to the Democratic Party would mean a very small majority for the Democrats.
When reading the piece, it is easy to see what Williams' real thoughts are.
In essence, just because Tim Scott, a black man, is a black man, should think the way Juan Williams thinks. For Williams, that goes without saying. It goes without saying that a black person has to see everything exactly (randomly, by the way) as it is presented in the entire media narrative.
The media narrative is also accidentally shared by the Democratic Party.
And don't think for a second, it's only Juan Williams who thinks that.
For about 12 hours after Sen. Scott disproved President Biden's speech, "Uncle Tim" was trending on Twitter before it was abolished.

Democrats have to hold everyone in place
Black Republicans aren't the only people the Democrats have to control. Recently, Caitlyn Jenner announced that she would run for governor of California and run against governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA).
Almost immediately Jenner heard the love of the left. She immediately became a "hateful person" and a "traitor" to other transgender people.
The Daily Wire reported that trans activist Charlotte Clymer Jenner called "the Phyllis Schlafly of the trans community".

Jemele Hill called Jenner the "Candace Owens of the Trans Community". Owens is another black woman with wrong opinions.
Hispanic Republicans are also not immune to treatment.
Adrienne Pena-Garza, leader of the Hidalgo County Texas Republican Party and former Democrat, describes how to call a "coconut" (brown on the outside, white on the inside, isn't that nice?) To switch to the party it believed it had best represented their views.
Are you starting to see a pattern here?

How long can Democrats continue to demonize free thinkers?
The great William F. Buckley once said: "Liberals claim they want to hear other views but are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views."
The tide could start to turn. The New York Post reported immediately after the 2020 election that Donald Trump received 26% of the non-white share of the voting rights.
The more Blacks, Hispanics, and LGBT people continue to speak freely about what they believe in, the more people will find there is freedom of speech and their own values than Democrats see them as traitors to race, gender, or race another reliable democratic electoral category.
Perhaps Democrats and the left are afraid that these are the people who are going to divulge the dirty little secret that the Party of Inclusion, Diversity and Tolerance is anything but.
Democrats claim the point is to respect other people's cultures and beliefs, but they cannot even respect the cultures of their fellow Americans.
They regard the South as racist rednecks, the people of the Midwest as "bitter braces" and millions of Americans as unfortunate.
