Kevin McCarthy cut the conversation off and gave only one word answer when asked if he would testify about his 1/6 call to Trump.

CNN's Manu Raju asked, "Would you be willing to testify about your January 6 interview with Donald Trump if asked by an outside commission?"

McCarthy replied, “Sure. Next question."

Raju followed, "Would you?"

McCarthy didn't answer.

Kevin McCarthy is against the 1/6 commission for trying to hide something. If McCarthy really had nothing to hide or information that put Trump and the Republicans in a good light, he would be supporting the commission and giving testimony willingly.

The fact that he offered a one-word answer and then dropped out of questioning should tell the American people everything they need to know about McCarthy's guilt and his ability to involve Donald Trump.
