Walsh said so when he made the announcement yesterday and said to his followers, “Not surprised, but I'm amazed. I thought it was so important to have ONE conservative anti-Trump voice on the radio. "

Some bad news. Looks like I lost my radio show. The network is run by a big trumper and he wanted me to boot for a while. Looks like it finally happened.

Not surprised, but I am amazed. I thought it was so important to have ONE conservative anti-Trump voice on the radio.

He later said that being open to Trump effectively means that he is "absolutely no future in the GOP or the conservative media world. "

It's such a crazy time. I am a conservative. I grew up. I opened my heart I have listened to. I have learned. But I'm still conservative. But because I'm so open to Trump & Trumpism, I have absolutely no future in the GOP or the conservative media world.

So damn crazy.

Walsh once openly supported Trump, but lifted his support after Trump's 2018 summit in Helsinki with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. At the time, Trump made headlines for openly pushing back against the consensus of American intelligence services that Russia had interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

“I'm a conservative tea party, that will never change. But Trump was a traitor to this country today, "said Walsh at the time. "That cannot be accepted."
