The Rachel Maddow Show continued its dominance over Fox News when it defeated Sean Hannity for the sixth straight month.
According to a press release from MSNBC to PoliticusUSA:
"The Rachel Maddow Show" at 9 p.m. continues to beat FOX News ‘" Hannity "at 9 p.m. with a total of 2.64 million viewers (compared to FOX News’ 2.62 million and CNN's 1 million). This is the sixth month in a row that “Maddow” was number 1 in total viewers at 9pm and 96th. In A25-54, “Maddow” was number 2 with an average of 368,000 viewers (compared to CNN's 243,000) – the biggest lead over CNN since September 2020.
Sean Hannity has been stalling since Trump left office. Hannity would likely benefit from spending more time working on his show than writing and producing Trump advertisements.
Those who thought Rachel Maddow's success was down to Trump and all of his various scandals have been proven wrong. Rachel Maddow continues to post compelling hours of news and analysis with the Democrats in charge of the federal government.
Without the pandemic and the nation that has no president who has kept the country in a constant state of crisis, cable news viewers are falling. It seems that the American people are finally able to take a break and catch their breath, but Rachel Maddow is still rolling on.
