Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) stars in a new Republican National Committee campaign ad that ridicules President Joe Biden's calls for "unity" and "socialist dreams" promoted by the Democrats.
In the ad, Scott points out Biden's promise on Inauguration Day to bring the country together.
“A president who has promised to bring us together shouldn't be promoting agendas that tear us apart. Our best future will not come from Washington’s plans and socialist dreams, but from you, the American people, ”said Scott in the introduction.
In the Reaganesque embassy, Scott predicts that "our finest hour is yet to come."

President Joe Biden, Moderate or Progressive?
As Joe Biden enters the sixth month of his presidency, and with a 2022 mid-term election that Republicans are very comfortable with given what the Biden administration has done to date, the GOP has done its best to make Joe Biden the Progressive Democrats' best friend – a guy who was in the Senate for nearly 40 years and was called moderate, but now as president is indebted to the most radical votes of the Democratic Party.

Biden faced opposition to his $ 1.9 trillion COVID relief package, a bill that White House press secretary Jen Psaki called "the most progressive bill in American history." Not a single Republican voted for the bill.
Republicans also recently rejected a move to set up a September 11, 2001-style commission to investigate the events of January 6, when Trump supporters entered the Capitol. Biden had declared that he supported such a commission.

Republicans feel confident about 2022
Republican National Committee chairman Ronna McDaniel promoted the 30-second, seven-digit ad purchase that features Scott and also begins a year before the 2022 campaign.
“Joe Biden offered nothing but divisive partisanship and failed politics. With Americans more divided than ever thanks to his failed leadership, the Republican Party prides itself on offering a better vision for America, which is why we are bringing our conservative message of unity and prosperity into the national airwaves. Our victorious Republican agenda will triumph over Democratic divisions and lead our nation towards a better, brighter future. ”
The RNC transferred $ 5 million apiece to the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee, a sign that their fundraising is strong.

Democrats used Jim Crow Filibuster to stop Scott's law enforcement reform
Last summer, the Democrats had a chance to show their willingness to work with the Republicans when Tim Scott passed a police reform law called the Justice Act. The bill contained a number of things the Democrats wanted in police reform legislation.
Instead of coming to the table with President Biden in tow, they attacked Scott for his efforts and went through the legislation.
This is despite the recent attempts by the Democrats to portray the filibuster as a tool of "Jim Crow". It is doubly ironic that Tim Scott is a black man.
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) called this an "apparently half-hearted approach," and House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi called it "actually an attempt to get away with murder. The murder of George Floyd. "
Even after Scott offered numerous concessions and various opportunities to collaborate on the bill, the Democrats then proceeded to crush Scott's bill.
As Democrats continue to make politics on issues like police reform, Tim Scott's star in the Republican Party will continue to rise. Scott recently said:
“I've never had so much faith in the American family. Republicans have proven to the nation that conservative solutions and common sense policies could lift millions out of poverty, create a more inclusive economy, and pave a direct path to the American dream. Our future rests in the hands of ordinary Americans who work hard to support their families and give back to their communities. With the Republicans at the helm, we make sure they have every chance of being successful. "
