Rep. Steve Cohen calls on FBI director to research Trump for terrorism

During a hearing with FBI Director Chris Wray, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) asked him to investigate Trump over domestic terrorism.

Director Chris Wray won't say whether the FBI is investigating President Trump for his role in the January 6 riot.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) says, "I would urge you to do it."

FBI DIRECTOR WRAY: "Well, uh, one more time, Congressman, uh, something like what I said earlier, because we have not one, but now nearly 500 criminal cases pending – all in the hands of judges lying who feel … very strongly about how much I discuss pending cases …

COHEN: “I appreciate that. I understand that. I'm talking about Mr. Big— # 1.

From a half-glass perspective, the FBI director has not denied that they are investigating high-profile Republican Party politicians, including Trump, for their role in the attack on the Capitol.

Republicans are trying to make America forget about the January 6 attack, but elected officials like Rep. Cohen are not letting them off the hook. Trump's terrorist attack on the Capitol will not be forgotten, and the Democrats will pressure the FBI to investigate Trump and the Republican elected who may have been involved.
