The uncle of a teenager who recorded the arrest of George Floyd is killed in a police chase. He wasn't a suspect
She added, "The Minneapolis Police Department cost my entire family a great loss … today was a day of heartbreak and sadness. We went to where he was killed and put up beautiful flowers and candles, but even that wasn't enough to bring him back. It's not fair how the police can just walk around killing people … WHY DO YOU DO A HIGH SPEED CHASE on a residential street ??? You took an innocent life trying to catch someone else … I don't know how to feel … I was just at the beach with you … I would have hugged you so much longer Told you that I love you much more …. I love you so much …. please pray for my family His name is Leneal Lamont Frazier. Uncle, I love you, I find it difficult to accept that I won't see you again. "
Darnella gave a strong testimony during the trial of former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of Floyd's murder, when the ex-cop knelt on the black father's neck for more than nine minutes. Darnella mentioned her uncle in that statement. “When I look at George Floyd, I look at my father. I look at my brothers. I look at my cousins and uncles because they're all black, ”she said. “I have a black father. I have a black brother. I have black friends. And I'll look at that, and I'll see how that could have been one of them. "
On a short vacation. Here's another must-see moment from the court today. Darnella Frazier asked about the impact on her life since her video of #GeorgeFloyd's fatal arrest went viral. She says she stays up at night apologizing to Floyd for not doing more to save him. #DerekChauvinTrial pic.twitter.com/C0i2IHfdBe

She added: "He would help anyone, anytime, in any circumstance. He was the father of 6 children and 1 grandchild. He was the oldest of 5 siblings so of course he was their protector. He loved his family and friends. He loves to cook and grill and to spend as much time as possible with his family. He was one of the cutest people you will ever meet. "
