In the cult classic "When a Stranger Calls" from 1979, the protagonist of the film – a teenage babysitter – receives increasingly violent and threatening calls from an unknown person. The climax of the film comes when the police tell the babysitter that they have been tracking the call and that "the call is coming from inside the house."
Given press secretary Jenn Psaki's comments on the podium this week, this is clearly a classic horror movie scene that has never been seen by anyone at the Biden White House.

Psaki said the Biden White House was working with social media giant Facebook on Thursday to "stop the spread of disinformation" about the COVID-19 vaccine. Psaki's comments followed a 22-page document from Biden's Surgeon General Vivek Murthy aimed at what the government calls medical disinformation.
In the document, Vivek says:
"During the COVID-19 pandemic, health misinformation has sowed confusion, reduced confidence in public health measures, and hampered efforts to get Americans vaccinated. And misinformation has not only harmed our physical health – it has also divided our families, friends and communities. "
Warning flags hoisted
Psaki's comments and the Vivek document were immediately criticized by conservatives and bourgeois libertarians who – rightly – raised warning flags when the government worked with social media giants and the media to win the voices of scholars, medical professionals and others, who have risen to silence concerns about COVID treatments and the safety and effectiveness of vaccines.

Glenn Greenwald, tweeted a burning criticism of the efforts of the Biden government with 8 tweets, which described the "unification of corporate and state power" as one of the "classic hallmarks of fascism".
After spending all day reading Liberals, the Biden WH justifies telling FB which posts to delete – in response to my and @mtaibbi's reviews – essentially it boils down to this:
They censor to keep us safe and protect because they love us. You read Orwell for guidance.

What is really amazing – and reaches the Orwellian level – is that this White House is making that effort, even though one of the vaccine's earliest and most senior critics is the current Vice President of the United States – Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris was previously vaccine critical
In September 2020, when asked by CNN's Dana Bash if she was taking the vaccine developed during Donald Trump's presidency, Harris replied that she wasn't sure and that she "wouldn't take Trump's word for it".
Harris continued, "I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that speaks about the effectiveness and reliability of what he is talking about."
As if that wasn't enough, Harris asked if scientists and medical professionals would even be part of the vaccine process in the Trump administration, according to CNN:
“When asked by Bash if she believed that public health experts and scientists would have the final say on a vaccine's effectiveness, Harris predicted it would not.
"If the past is a prologue that they will not do it, they will be muzzled, they will be oppressed, they will be sidelined."
To date, Kamala Harris has never apologized for these statements, never spoke up, and told the public that she was wrong because she tried to undermine public confidence in the vaccine, or even admitted that she suspected the vaccine was purely political and not scientific at all.
Harris isn't the only one who hasn't apologized
Harris is nowhere near alone. Also in September 2020, when announcing that New York State would review all federal government-approved vaccines, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) said:
"To be honest, I won't trust the federal government's opinion and I wouldn't recommend New York to anybody based on the federal government's opinion."
Like Vice President Harris, Cuomo has never apologized for that statement, admitted that he was wrong, or admitted that his opposition was all about Trump and had absolutely nothing to do with science or security.
If the White House were seriously interested in tackling so-called "medical disinformation," it could begin holding Democratic partisans accountable for what they said about this very vaccine less than a year ago.

The truth is that her criticism of the vaccine last year was purely political, and her efforts to use social media to apply for the vaccine this year are just as political.
Nothing the Democrats have done since this pandemic began has been to protect American life – it has always been about building and protecting political power.
