Marco Rubio looks like an idiot after attacking the Secretary of Defense without knowing the Philippines' COVID rules
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) attacked Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin for wearing a mask and shield where required in the Philippines.
Our @SecDef is vaccinated
But he arrives in the Philippines wearing a mask AND a face shield

The Philippines require masks and face protection in public
Bill Kristol responded that the Philippines need masks and shields in public:
The Philippine government requires a mask and shield in public places (h / t @janecoaston). @SecDef is courteous and respectful of its host government. An apology from @marcorubio to @SecDef would be appropriate. https://t.co/AmRdg23for

Marco Rubio looks like an idiot who is involved in the cynical anti-mask Covid theater
Marco Rubio is obviously concerned about the toughest re-election of his career against Rep. Val Demings. Rubio does what he does best. It flatters the lowest common denominator. Senator Rubio also wants to become president in the worst possible way.
Rubio is so desperate to woo Trump voters in his state and prepare for yet another presidential campaign that he tweets without knowing the COVID protocols overseas.
Rubio went for the Republican anti-vaccine, anti-mask, and pro-death cult.
Marco Rubio tries to save his seat, revealing why he is a national embarrassment.
