Far left progressive Jessica Cisneros has her second lead lawsuit against incumbent Democrat for the Borders Henry Cuellar on Jan.
Cisneros, an immigration attorney, first competed against Cuellar in 2020 and lost by just three points.
The race will be a race to watch for the whole nation – due to the open border policy of Cisneros, as opposed to the pro-border views of Cuellar – who has even spoken out to his own party about the situation on the southern border.
It could be an uphill battle as the Progressives have suffered some losses recently when they faced the established Democrats. You have to give it to them. Last but not least, you are persistent.
When they said we had no chance, we showed them how strong the dreams of immigrants, teachers and rancheros are.
Now is the time to finish what we started.
I'm running for Congress because # TX28 deserves a representative who fights as hard for our dreams as we do. pic.twitter.com/U5XSJwcWS9

As early as April, when it became clear that the Biden government did not want to do anything against the southern border, Henry Cuellar and Rep. John Katko (R-NY) introduced a bill that required the Department of Home Security (DHS) to come up with a plan develop to cope with the flood of illegal immigrants coming across the border.
"The Border Surge Response and Resilience Act" would create an "Irregular Migration Surge Border Response Fund" that could be activated depending on the conditions at the border.
Cisneros had this to say about this rare bipartisanism: “I thought this pandemic would alert our representative to the problems that South Texans face on a daily basis, but Henry Cuellar has again shown us that serving his Republican corporate donors is more important as our community. "
Maybe Jessica Cisneros should be the 28th
"Something has to change when it comes to issues of border immigration," said MP Henry Cuellar at a press conference on Friday.

Radicals don't show up to get the message
The extreme left has not done well in special elections this year. They were defeated in the Virginia Governor Primary, New York City Mayor's Primary, and Special Congressional Elections in Louisiana, New Mexico, and most recently in Ohio.
Time and again, American voters reject things like the new Green Deal, the defunding of the police and open borders when given a choice. With the situation at the border only getting worse, it's likely that voters don't want to shake up, but want to go with someone who has been tested like Cuellar.
It seems that the extreme left progressive is dividing the Democratic Party.
While Republicans may be divided over anti-Trump and pro-Trump factions, the chances are Democrats, who have always been a party of coalitions – minorities, LGBT, environmentalists, feminists, etc. – will continue to split into established and progressive factions become .
At the moment the progressives are not a large group, but all of these groups that make up the coalitions will ultimately have to choose which side. And they will choose the side that they think can be most helpful to their cause.
Progressives should support Democrats, or they should work against themselves. Maybe not as popular if you look far left, but most other people get it. https://t.co/gGmwuDG5Ng

Other things Democrats should be concerned about
You'd think Democrats would be concerned about their microscopic majority in the House of Representatives and how to keep and / or increase it, or about a 50/50 sensation in the Senate, or about the decision of whether to hold an incumbent in a district want to keep running along the line, but the Democrats have other things on their plate, too.
And that thing is Republicans, in a number of ways.
Given the track record of the Biden administration and Democrats in control of the House, Senate, and White House, and the fact that they always go too far when in control, the GOP's opportunities see the year 2022 always looks better.
And Texas border districts could be targeted.
This is perhaps even easier than previously thought. The Daily Caller reported an increase in Hispanic women running for Republican office back in May. They also reported that the transition from Democrat to Republican is taking place in heavily Hispanic counties along the border.
So far, Myra Flores and Monica De La Cruz-Hernandez are both Hispanic Republicans, running for seats in the House of Representatives in 2022. Both told The Daily Caller that the Democratic Party had moved far too far to the left and that they no longer represented their own values or the values of the Hispanic community as a whole.
It's a trend that Republicans must use to get seats in 2022 and 2024 and grow the party.
The last time Jessica Cisneros had the support of the Squad members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Senator Elizabeth Warren.
But that was the case in 2020. Times can change and 2022 could be a whole new game.
The Justice Democrats are starting another area code for Jessica Cisneros against the Democratic incumbent Henry Cuellar.
As usual, the Justice Democrats are more likely to pursue a centrist Democratic incumbent than the GOP. This is what they do. https://t.co/qKCwILgN2r
